About Indclav Bid Suspension:

Indclav Bid Suspension is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

Each 5 ml of reconstituted suspension of Indclav Bid Suspension contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg.

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Indclav Bid Suspension:

Indclav Bid Suspension is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.

Usage Direction of Indclav Bid Suspension:

• Indclav Bid Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Indclav Bid Suspension is for paediatric use only.
• Shake the bottle to loosen the powder.
• Slowly add sterile water provided with this pack up to the mark on the bottle and shake well.
• Add sterile water if necessary to adjust the volume up to the mark.
• Shake well before use.
• Please use the measuring cap that comes with the package for accurate measurement, during the reconstitution.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Indclav Bid Suspension:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Indclav Bid Suspension.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Indclav Bid Suspension with any other medication.
• Use the reconstituted suspension within 7 days.
• Do not refrigerate the product prior to reconstitution.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Indclav Bid Suspension:

Store below 25°C. Protect from moisture.

After reconstitution:

Keep the suspension in the refrigerator when not in use.
