About Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection:
Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection is Monocomponent Human Insulin (r-DNA origin) Injection Each ml Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection contains, 100 IU Human Insulin (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 2.5 mg m-Cresol Ph. Eur. as preservative, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, Hydrochloric Acid Solution 10% q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide Solution 10% q.s. for pH adjustment and Water for Injection q.s. to 1 ml.
Use of Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection:
Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.
Usage direction of Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection:
- Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
- Before using Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection vial know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
- Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
- Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
- Do not use Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

- Please take precaution during the use of Huminsulin R 100 IU/ml Injection in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.

- Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
- Storage: For unused cartridge, keep in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Must not be allowed to freeze. After insertion of the cartage in the pen, the solution should be used in 28 days. When in use the cartridges should be stored below 30°C and do not refrigerate.
- Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
