About Human Insulatard 40 IU Inj 10 ml Vial:

Human Insulatard is a Isophane insulin injection. Each ml suspension contains Human Insulin 40 IU, Metacresol 1.5 mg and Phenol 0.65 mg (as preservatives), Water for injection.

Use of Human Insulatard 40 IU Inj 10 ml Vial:

Human Insulatard is prescribed in the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Human Insulatard 40 IU Inj 10 ml Vial:

• Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
• Before using Human Insulatard know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
• Shake well before use.
• Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
• Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not use if any damage found in the rubber plunge or any floating particle observed.

• If you find any complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• If you are taking any medications and any other supplements please inform your physician.
• Please take precaution during the use of Human Insulatard in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation : Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage : Store between 2°C - 8°C in a refrigerator. Do not freeze. Protect from light. During use Human Insulatard may be kept at room temperature below 25°C for up to 4 weeks.
