About Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen is a Insulin Lispro Biphasic injection I.P. (25% Insulin Lispro and 75% Insulin Lispro Protamine Suspension). Each ml of Humalog Mix 25 contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Lispro injection I.P. (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Ph. Eur. as buffering agent, 16 mg Glycerol I.P. as tonicity modifier, 0.80 mg Liquified Phenol I.P. as preservative/stabilizer, 1.76 mg Metacresol USP as preservative/stabilizer, 0.28 mg Protamine Sulphate I.P. as Insulin Lispro complexing agent, Zinc oxide I.P. q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid I.P. (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide I.P. (10%) for pH adjustment and Water for injection I.P. q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Humalog Mix 25 may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

  • Use Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen exactly as prescribed by your physician.
  • Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
  • Inject your dose of Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen into a muscle or vein.
  • Mix Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen well before each use.
  • Do not skip or change the dose without doctor’s advice.

Precaution & Related information of Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

  • Do not share your Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your physician.
  • Pregnancy & lactation : Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
  • Storage : Store all unopened (unused) Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen in the original carton in a refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Do not freeze. It should be stored at room temperature below 86°F (30°C) up to 28 days during use in case of Vials and for up to 10 days in case of Prefilled Pen and Cartridge.
  • Do not use Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen that has been frozen.
  • Do not use after the expiration date printed on the carton and label.
  • Protect Humalog Mix 25 KwikPen from extreme heat, cold or light.
