About Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge is a Insulin Lispro Injection  Each ml Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge of Insulin Lispro contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Lispro Injection  (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, 3.15 mg Metacresol  as preservative/stabilizer, Zinc oxide q.s. as stabilizer, 1.88 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate as buffering agent, Hydrochloric Acid  (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide (10%) for pH adjustment, Water for injection q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge is prescribed alone or in combination with other medicine for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

• Use Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
• Inject your dose of Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge into a muscle or vein.
• Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge should be clear and colorless. Do not use Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge if it contains particles, is cloudy and discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
• Do not skip or change the dose without doctor’s advice.

Precaution & Related information of Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

• Do not share your Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
• Please take precaution during the use of Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your physician.
• Pregnancy & lactation : Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
• Storage :
• Unopened Humalog Lispro 100 IU/ml Cartridge should be stored in a refrigerator between 36° to 46°F (2° to 8°C), but not in the freezer. Do not use Humalog if it has been frozen.
• In-use Humalog vials, cartridges, pens, and Humalog KwikPen should be stored at room temperature, below 86°F (30°C) and must be used within 28 days or be discarded, even if they still contain Humalog.
• Do not use after the expiration date printed on the carton and label.
• Protect from direct heat and light.
