Insulin Lispro (rDNA Origin) 100IU/ml

About Humalog Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Kwik Pen is a Insulin Lispro Injection I.P. Each ml of Humalog Kwik Pen contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Lispro Injection I.P. (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 1.88 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Ph. Eur. as buffering agent, 16 mg Glycerol I.P. as tonicity modifier, 3.15 mg Metacresol Ph. Eur. as preservative/stabilizer, Zinc oxide I.P. q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid I.P. (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide I.P. (10%) for pH adjustment and Water for injection I.P. q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Humalog Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Kwik Pen is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Humalog Kwik Pen may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Humalog Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

  • Use Humalog Kwik Pen exactly as prescribed by your physician.
  • Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
  • Inject your dose of Humalog Kwik Pen under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Humalog Kwik Pen into a muscle or vein.
  • Humalog should be clear and colorless. Do not use Humalog if it contains particles, is cloudy and discoloured, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
  • Do not skip or change the dose without doctor’s advice.

Precaution & Related information of Humalog Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

  • Do not share your Humalog Kwik Pen or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Humalog Kwik Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your physician.
  • Pregnancy & lactation : Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
  • Storage : 
  • Unused Pen : Store unused Pens in the refrigerator between 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C).
  • In-use Pen : Store the Pen you are currently using at room temperature up to 86°F (30°C). Keep away from heat and light.
  • Do not use after the expiration date printed on the carton and label.
  • Protect from direct heat and light.
