About Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion:

Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion belongs to the group of mild analgesics (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine indicated to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.

Each 100 ml Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion contains Paracetamol 1 g.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

Use of Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion:

Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion is prescribed to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, migraine, backache, toothache, menstrual pain, musculoskeletal pain, and common colds.

Usage Direction of Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion:

  • Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, single-dose container intended for intravenous administration only.
  • The Physician will advise the right dose & direction of administration as per the patient’s condition.
  • Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion to be used with Non-Pyrogenic intravenous administration set using aseptic technique.
  • Self-administration is strictly prohibited.

Precaution & Related information of Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The Physician should be well informed when concomitant administration of this infusion with any other medicines.
  • Taking more than daily dose of Paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).
  • Discard any unused solution immediately after initial use.
  • Do not use if found leaking upon squeezing or solution is not clear. Solution containing visible solid particles must not be used.
  • Even invisible damage to bottle caused during storage or transit may result in contamination.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Hospimol UB 1 gm Infusion:

  • Store below 30°C. Protected from light. Do not freeze.
