Hhamclav Dry Syrup 3.3 g/30 ml

About Hhamclav Dry Syrup:

Hhamclav Dry Syrup is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

Each twin pack contains:

A. One bottle of Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate Oral Suspension

Each 5 ml of reconstituted suspension of Hhamclav Dry Syrup contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg.

B. One Ampoule of Sterile Water for Reconstitution 30 ml of Dry Syrup

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Hhamclav Dry Syrup:

Hhamclav Dry Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.

Usage Direction of Hhamclav Dry Syrup:

• Hhamclav Dry Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Hhamclav Dry Syrup is for paediatric use only.
• Tap the bottle to loosen the powder.
• Twist the cap and open the provided pack of sterile water.
• Slowly add sterile water upto the ring mark on the bottle and shake well.
• Adjust the volume upto the ring mark by adding more sterile water if necessary.
• Shake well before use.
• Please use the measuring cap that comes with the package for accurate measurement.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Hhamclav Dry Syrup:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Hhamclav Dry Syrup.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Hhamclav Dry Syrup with any other medication.
• Caution: Without opening the bottle, observe the powder in the bottle. If it is found brownish in colour, don’t use it.
• The reconstituted suspension should be used within 3 days.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Hhamclav Dry Syrup:

Stored at a temperature below 25°C in a cool, dry and dark place. Protect from direct light and moisture.

After Reconstitution:

Keep the suspension in refrigerator. Do not freeze.
