Herpex 5% Cream 5 gm

About Herpex 5% Cream:

Herpex 5% cream contains Aciclovir 5% w/w, in a cream base q.s.

Aciclovir is an antiviral agent which is highly active in vitro against herpes simplex virus (HSV) types I and II and varicella zoster virus.

Use of Herpex 5% Cream:

Herpex 5% Cream is indicated for the treatment of initial and recurrent herpes genitalis, non-life threatening mucocutaneous Herpes simplex virus infections, herpes labialis and blepharitis.

Herpex Cream is also applied to the cutaneous lesions in herpes zoster.

Usage direction of Herpex 5% Cream:

• Herpex 5% Cream is intended for external use only.
• Wash your hands before and after each application.
• Puncture nozzle seal with piercing point of the cap.
• Replace the cap tightly closed after use.
• Please check the package leaflet of label instruction before application.
  
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precaution & Related information of Herpex 5% Cream:

• If allergic to this medicine inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Not recommended for use by patients who know they are immunocompromised, except on the advice of a doctor.
• Not to be applied to mucous membranes such as inside the mouth or vagina, or on the eye. Particular care should be taken to avoid contact with the eye.
• Store at a temperature nor exceeding 25°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.
