About Herperax Ointment:
Herperax ointment contains Aciclovir 5% w/w, in a Ointment base q.s.
Aciclovir is a synthetic purine nucleoside analogue with in vitro and in vivo inhibitory activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2), and varicella-zoster virus (VZV).
Use of Herperax Ointment:
Herperax ointment is an antiviral ointment indicated for the treatment of herpes labialis and herpes genitalis caused by herpes simplex virus. It prevents the multiplication of the virus and therefore helps in clearing the infection.
Usage direction of Herperax Ointment:
- Herperax ointment is intended for external use only.

- To be applied in sufficient quantity to cover all lesions.
- A rubber glove should be used while applying.
- Replace the cap securely after use.
- Do not skip or stop the dose without physician’s advice.
