About Glytop SR 2.5 mg Tablet:
Glytop SR 2.5 mg tablet is an ant-diabetic medication used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Each uncoated sustained release Glytop SR 2.5 mg tablet contains Glipizide 2.5 mg and Excipients q.s.
Glipizide stimulates insulin release from pancreatic ß-cells and reduces glucose output from the liver. It also increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites.
Use of Glytop SR 2.5 mg Tablet:
Glytop SR 2.5 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Usage direction of Glytop SR 2.5 mg Tablet:
- Glytop SR 2.5 mg tablet should be taken orally.
- Glytop SR 2.5 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
