Glusens M1 Tablet is an oral anti diabetic medicine, used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus.

This dual action formula, prescribed when lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, and previous treatment with a single oral anti diabetic medication, fail to control blood sugar levels effectively.

Type 2 diabetes can lead to serious complications, including cardiovascular disease such as heart attack and stroke, as well as kidney damage, nerve damage, vision problems, slow wound healing, etc.

Glusens M1 Tablet also plays an important role by enhancing the body's response to insulin or increasing the body's production of insulin, thereby reducing the risk of these potentially debilitating symptoms.

Each uncoated bilayered tablet contains: Glimepiride 1 mg, Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (in prolonged release form), and Excipients q.s.

• Usage Direction

Glusens M1 should be swallowed as a whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it, and ideally at the same time each day. Do not stop or alter the dose of Glusens M1 Tablet without consulting your doctor, as this may prevent you from achieving the desired outcome. • Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Glusens M1 Tablet, take it as soon as it is remembered. If it is time for your next dose of Glusens M1 Tablet, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed dose.

• Over Dose

If you accidentally take Glusens M1 Tablet more than your prescribed dose, it may lead to severe hypoglycemia or lactic acidosis. To manage hypoglycemia on an emergency basis, take fast-acting carbohydrates like sugar, fruit juice, honey, etc and seek medical advice immediately.

Contraindications of Glusens M1 Tablet:

Do not take Glusens M1 Tablet, if you are hypersensitive or allergic to glimepiride, metformin, or any of the components.  Avoid taking Glusens M1 Tablet if you have Type 1 or insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic coma, decompensated heart failure, respiratory failure, or recent myocardial infarction, severe kidney or liver disease.
