About Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet:
Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Each uncoated extended-release Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet contains Gliclazide 60 mg.
Gliclazide belongs to the sulfonylurea class of insulin secretagogues that increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites by stimulating insulin release from the pancreatic ß-cells. It also reduces insulin uptake & glucose output of the liver.
Use of Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet:
Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Usage Direction of Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet:
- Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet should be swallowed whole.
- Do not chew the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
Precaution & Related information of Glizid XR 60 mg Tablet:
