About Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet:

Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet is an antidiabetic class of medication prescribed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each uncoated sustained release Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet contains Vildagliptin 100 mg.

Vildagliptin selectively inhibits the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzyme that rapidly truncates and inactivates incretin hormones such as glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). Incretin hormones stimulate insulin secretion and inhibit glucagon release in a glucose-dependent manner. These effects help to lower the overall blood glucose levels.

Uses of Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet:

Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet is an oral antidiabetic agent indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, NIDDM).

Usage Direction of Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet:

Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.

Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet is to be swallowed whole.

Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.

Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet:

If hypersensitive or allergic to Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  

If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.

The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.

Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.

Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Glipy OD 100 SR Tablet:
