About Glemont A Tablet:

Each film coated bilayered Glemont A tablet contains Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg (In immediate release form), Acebrophyline 200 mg (In sustained release form) and Excipients q.s.

Montelukast belongs to a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). Montelukast is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) and to relieve allergic symptoms, such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing. It works by blocking the action of substances in the body that cause the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Acebrophylline has both muco-regulating and bronchodilating properties. Acebrophylline is used to treat bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.

Usage direction of Glemont A Tablet:

Glemont A tablet is intended for oral use only.

Glemont A tablet should be swallowed whole and not to be broken, chewed, or crushed.
