About Genticyn 80 mg/2 ml Injection:
Each 2 ml Genticyn 80mg/2 ml injection contains: Gentamicin Sulphate Equivalent to Gentamicin base 80 mg, Methylparaben 0.18% w/v (as preservative), Propylparaben 0.02% w/v (as preservative), Water for Injection q.s.
Use of Genticyn 80 mg/2 ml Injection:
Genticyn 80mg/2 ml injection is prescribed for the treatment of various types of bacterial infections like urinary tract infections, pneumonia, meningitis, sepsis.
Usage Direction of Genticyn 80 mg/2 ml Injection:
- Genticyn 80mg/2 ml injection should be taken parenterally.
- Please read the package insert before administration.
- Do not self-administered the injection.
- Do not use if reconstituted solution contains any visible particles.
- Use immediately after reconstitution.
- Once a syringe has been opened, any remaining solution must be discarded.
- Dispose the needle after use.
Precautions & Related Information of Genticyn 80 mg/2 ml Injection:
- If allergic to this injection inform the physician immediately.
- If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
- Consult with physician during pregnancy & lactation.
- Warning: Do not use if any particle or suspended matter is visible.
