Gemfos 35 mg Tablet is used for the treatment of bone diseases including osteoporosis and paget’s disease.
Each film-coated Gemfos 35 mg Tablet contains Risedronate Sodium 35 mg (as Risedronate Sodium Hemi-Pentahydrate).
Risedronate Sodium belongs to bisphosphonates class of medications, which is used to treat bone diseases. It works directly on the bones to make them stronger and therefore less likely to break.
Use of Gemfos 35 mg Tablet:
Gemfos 35 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of:
- Corticosteroid induced osteoporosis
- Postmenopausal osteoporosis
- Paget’s disease of bone
Usage Direction of Gemfos 35 mg Tablet:
- Gemfos 35 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Orthopedic Surgeon or Gynaecologist.
- Gemfos 35 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Orthopedic Surgeon or Gynaecologist’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
- Before consumption please check the package insert leaflet that comes up with the medicine.
Precaution & Related information of Gemfos 35 mg Tablet:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Gemfos 35 mg Tablet, inform the Orthopedic Surgeon or Gynaecologist immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the Orthopedic Surgeon or Gynaecologist immediately.
- The Orthopedic Surgeon or Gynaecologist should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
