Gabapentin 300mg
About Gabantin 300 mg Capsule:
Gabantin 300 mg capsule is an anticonvulsant medication used for the treatment of epilepsy and neuropathic pain.
Each Gabantin 300 mg capsule contains Gabapentin 300 mg and Excipients q.s.
Gabapentin binds with high affinity to the alpha-2-delta-1 subunit of voltage-gated Ca channels and appears to inhibit the action of alpha2delta subunits, thus decreasing the density of presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels and subsequent release of excitatory neurotransmitters. This mechanism is likely to relieve neuropathic pain and also responsible for the anti-epileptic action of gabapentin.

Gabantin 300 mg capsule is prescribed for the management of partial-onset seizures, peripheral neuropathic pains (long-lasting pain caused by damage to the nerves), and restless leg syndrome.
