About Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler:
Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).
Each Actuation of Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler delivers Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate equivalent to Formoterol Fumarate 6 mcg and Fluticasone propionate 250 mcg.
Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.
Formoterol is a very potent long-acting adrenoceptor beta2-agonist with
high intrinsic activity and rapid onset of action. Formoterol stimulates the
beta -2 receptor, causing bronchodilation by relaxing the smooth muscle in the
airway.
Use of Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler:
Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler is prescribed for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).
Usage direction of Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler:
- Formosone 250 mcg Inhalers are intended for oral inhalation use only.
- Physician will advise the right dose and duration as per the patient’s condition.
- Before using Formosone 250 mcg Inhaler, know the administration process properly from enclosed leaflet.
- Shake well before each use.
- Hold the inhaler upright between index finger and thumb. Breathe out gently through your mouth and immediately place the mouth piece in your mouth between your teeth.
- Grip the mouthpiece firmly with your lips. Do not bite it. Tilt your head slightly backwards. Start breathing in slowly thoroughly your mouth. At the same time, press down the canister to release one dose while continuing to breathe in steadily & deeply.
- Remove the inhaler from your mouth. Hold your breath at least 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable. Breathe out slowly.
- Always replace the dust cap on the inhaler after use.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
