About Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap:

Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).

Each Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap capsule contains Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate equivalent to anhydrous Formoterol Fumarate 6 mcg, Fluticasone Propionate 100 mcg and Excipients q.s.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Formoterol is a very potent long-acting adrenoceptor beta2-agonist with high intrinsic activity and rapid onset of action. Formoterol stimulates the beta -2 receptor, causing bronchodilation by relaxing the smooth muscle in the airway.

Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap is prescribed for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).

Usage direction of Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap:

• Formoflo 100 mcg Transcaps are intended for oral inhalation use only.
• Capsules are intended for inhalation through Lupihaler only and not to be swallowed.
• After taking this medicine, rinse your mouth with water and spit out.
• Physician will advise the right dose and duration as per the patient’s condition.
• Before using Formoflo 100 mcg Transcap, know the administration process properly from enclosed leaflet.
• Keep the container tightly closed.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
