About Forglyn Forte Respicap:
Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule is used for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Each Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule contains Glycopyrrolate equivalent to Glycopyrronium 25 mcg, Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate equivalent to Formoterol Fumarate 12 mcg and Excipients q.s.
Glycopyrronium is a synthetic quaternary ammonium antimuscarinic. It competitively and reversibly blocks the action of acetylcholine on structures innervated by postganglionic cholinergic nerves and on smooth muscles that respond to acetylcholine.
Formoterol is a relatively selective long-acting agonist of
beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle),
although it does carry some degree of activity at beta1 and beta3 receptors.
Formoterol stimulates the beta -2 receptor, causing bronchodilation by relaxing
the smooth muscle in the airway.
Use of Forglyn Forte Respicap:
Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule is a combination of two bronchodilators, prescribed for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Usage direction of Forglyn Forte Respicap:
- Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule are intended for oral inhalation use only.
- Capsules are not to be swallowed and are intended for use through Respihaler only.
- After taking this medicine, rinse your mouth with water and split out.
- Physician will advise the right dose and duration as per the patient’s condition.
- Before using Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule, know the administration process properly from enclosed leaflet.
- Keep the container tightly closed after use.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Precaution & Related information of Forglyn Forte Respicap:
- If allergic to Forglyn Forte Respicap capsule, inform the physician immediately.
- If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
