About Forcan Injection 100 ml:

Forcan injection is prescribed for the treatment of moderate to severe fungal infection. Each 100 ml Forcan injection contains Fluconazole 200 mg, Sodium Chloride 0.9% w/v and Water for injections q.s.

Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine. It belongs to a class of drugs called azole antifungals. Fluconazole is used to treat a variety of fungal and yeast infections. Fluconazole is also used to treat meningitis, serious fungal infections that begin in the lungs and can spread through the body and fungal infections of the eye, skin and nails. It works by stopping the growth of fungus that cause infection.

Use of Forcan Injection 100 ml:

Forcan injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Systemic candidiasis

• Mucosal candidiasis

• Cryptococcosis

• Prevention of fungal infections in patients with malignancy

Usage direction of Forcan Injection 100 ml:

• Forcan injection is intended for single dose intravenous use only.

• Forcan injection (I.V. infusion) should be administrated at a rate not exceeding 10 mL/minute.

• Forcan injection should be given by a medical practitioner, do not try to self-administration.

• Do not use, if it contains sediment, any floating object or discoloured.

• Follow the label instruction for more information.
