About Fluvoxin 50 mg Tablet:

Fluvoxin 50 mg tablet is an antidepressant (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)) is used to treat depression.

Each film coated Fluvoxin 50 mg tablet contains Fluvoxamine Maleate 50 mg and Excipients q.s.

Fluvoxamine, an aralkyl ketone derivative, selectively inhibits serotonin re-uptake in CNS neurons with minimal or no effect on norepinephrine or dopamine reuptake. It blocks the reuptake of serotonin at the serotonin reuptake pump of the neuronal membrane, thus enhancing the actions of serotonin on 5HT1A autoreceptors.

Use of Fluvoxin 50 mg Tablet:

Fluvoxin 50 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Usage direction of Fluvoxin 50 mg Tablet:

• Fluvoxin 50 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Fluvoxin 50 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
