About Fluticort F 250 mcg Capsule:

Fluticort F 250 mcg capsule is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).

Each hard gelatin of Fluticort F 250 mcg capsule contains Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate equivalent to Formoterol Fumarate 6 mcg and Fluticasone Propionate 250 mcg.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Formoterol is a very potent long-acting adrenoceptor beta2-agonist with high intrinsic activity and rapid onset of action. Formoterol stimulates the beta -2 receptor, causing bronchodilation by relaxing the smooth muscle in the airway.

Use of Fluticort F 250 mcg Capsule:

Fluticort F 250 mcg capsule is prescribed for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).

Usage direction of Fluticort F 250 mcg Capsule:

  • Fluticort F 250 mcg capsules are intended for oral inhalation use only.
  • Capsules are intended for use through Machaler only and are not to be swallowed.
  • After taking this medicine, rinse your mouth with water and spit out.
  • Physician will advise the right dose and duration as per the patient’s condition.
  • Before using Fluticort F 250 mcg capsule, know the administration process properly from enclosed leaflet.
  • Keep the container tightly closed.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
