About Fibator 10 mg Tablet:
Fibator 10 mg Tablet is a combination medicine, indicated for the management of dyslipidaemias and reducing the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.
Each film-coated Fibator 10 mg Tablet contains Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to Atorvastatin 10 mg and Fenofibrate 145 mg.
Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate both belong to a class of dyslipidaemic medicines. Both medicines act by decreasing the levels of VLDL, LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), triglycerides, and increasing the levels of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) in the blood.
Uses of Fibator 10 mg Tablet:
Fibator 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the management of primary hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol in the blood), mixed dyslipidemia, severe hypertriglyceridemia (high triglyceride levels in the blood), and to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders such as stroke, heart attack, myocardial infarction (inadequate supply of blood to the heart muscle), angina (heart-related chest pain).
Usage Direction of Fibator 10 mg Tablet:
- Fibator 10 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Fibator 10 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not break, chew or crush the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Fibator 10 mg Tablet:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Fibator 10 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
