About Fenobate 67 mg Capsule:

Fenobate 67 mg capsule is a dyslipidaemic medicine used to treat dyslipidemia.

Each hard gelatin Fenobate 67 mg capsule contains Fenofibrate 67 mg (Micronised) and Excipients q.s.

Fenofibrate activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARa), increasing lipolysis, activating lipoprotein lipase, and reducing apoprotein C-III. Thus, leads to an increased VLDL catabolism, fatty acid oxidation, and elimination of atherogenic triglyceride-rich particles. As a result, it reduces total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, total triglycerides and VLDL cholesterol while increasing HDL cholesterol.

Use of Fenobate 67 mg Capsule:

Fenobate 67 mg capsule is prescribed for treatment of dyslipidemias including, severe hypertriglyceridemia, primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and primary hypercholesterolemia.

Usage direction of Fenobate 67 mg Capsule:

• Fenobate 67 mg capsule should be taken orally.
• Fenobate 67 mg capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
