About Esiflo 250 mcg Transhaler:
Esiflo 250 mcg transhaler is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each actuation delivers Salmeterol Xinafoate equivalent to Salmeterol 25 mcg, Fluticasone Propionate 250 mcg and Suspended in inert aerosol Propellants q.s.
Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.
Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.
Use of Esiflo 250 mcg Transhaler:
Esiflo 250 mcg transhaler is indicated in the
regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting
beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and
in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Usage
direction of Esiflo 250 mcg Transhaler:
• Esiflo 250 mcg transhaler is indicated for inhalation through mouth only.
• Before using Esiflo 250 mcg transhaler, know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.
• Shake well before each use.
• Close the mouthpiece cover immediately after every inhalation.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
