About Escipra 15 mg Tablet:

Escipra 15 mg tablet is a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor used in the treatment of depression and other mental health conditions.

Each film-coated Escipra 15 mg tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate equivalent to Escitalopram 15mg and excipients q.s.

Escitalopram is the S-enantiomer of the racemic derivative citalopram with antidepressant, anti-obsessive-compulsive and antibulimic properties. It selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin thereby enhancing the actions of serotonin in the central nervous system.

Use of Escipra 15 mg Tablet:

Escipra 15 mg tablet is prescribed for treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

Usage direction of Escipra 15 mg Tablet:

  • Escipra 15 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Escipra 15 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
