About Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj :

Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj is Soluble Insulin injection . Each ml Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj contains Insulin Human 40 IU (Human Insulin rDNA origin), Meta-Cresol 0.25% w/v (as preservative) and Water for Injection q.s.

Use of Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj  :

Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj :

  • Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
  • Before using Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
  • Shake gently before use.
  • Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
  • Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
  • Do not use if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

Precaution & Related information of Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj  :

  • If you find any complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
  • If you are taking any medications and any other supplements please inform your physician.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Equisulin R 40 IU/ml Inj in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
  • Storage: Store at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C. Avoid freezing. Protect from light.
