Each 5 ml of Enzocort Suspension contains Deflazacort 6 mg.
Enzocort Suspension is a corticosteroid pro-drug, whose active metabolite 21-desacetyl deflazacort binds to the glucocorticoid receptor to exert anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects on the body.
Use of Enzocort Suspension:
Enzocort Suspension is prescribed for the treatment of various disease conditions, including autoimmune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis), inflammatory disorders (asthma & allergies), neoplastic disorders, and other steroid-responsive disorders. It is also useful in duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Usage direction of Enzocort Suspension:
- Enzocort Suspension should be taken orally.
- Enzocort Suspension is for paediatric use only.
