About EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet:

EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet is indicated for the prophylaxis or management of nausea and vomiting associated with anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or surgery.

Each uncoated EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet contains Palonosetron Hydrochloride equivalent to Palonosetron 0.5 mg.

Palonosetron is a selective serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It works by inhibiting the action of serotonin (a chemical messenger in the brain) that causes nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

Use of EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet:

EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet is prescribed for the prophylaxis or management of nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy or surgery.

Usage Direction of EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet:

  • EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet should be melted in the mouth.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to EME OD 0.5 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
