About Electral Z+ Powder:

Electral Z+ Powder is an ORS with Zinc powder used for oral rehydration in various etiology.

Composition:

Each 4.38 g sachet contains:

Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate: 0.011 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.300 g, Sodium Chloride: 0.520 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.700 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.580 g, Excipients: q.s.

4.38 g of Electral Z+ supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Sodium: 75 mOsmol/Litre, Potassium: 20 mOsmol/Litre, Chloride: 65 mOsmol/Litre, Citrate: 10 mOsmol/Litre, Dextrose: 75 mOsmol/Litre, Total Osmolarity: 245 mOsmol/Litre.

Uses Of Electral Z+ Powder:

• Used for oral rehydration in various etilology.

Usage Direction Of Electral Z+ Powder:

• Electral Z+ Powder is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• The dosage should be equivalent to patient’s requirement for maintenance and replacement of fluid losses.
• Mix entire content of sachet in 200 ml of boiled and cooled water.
• The reconstituted solution should be used immediately or within 24 hours after the preparation.
• For reconstitution: Use plastic/ glass/ stainless steel container only.
• Thereafter, unused portion, if any, should be discarded.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of Electral Z+ Powder:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Electral Z+ Powder, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
• Electral Z+ Powder is not used for injection.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Caution:

• Depressed renal function. Severe continuing diarrhoeas or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with Electral Z+.

Storage Condition Of Electral Z+ Powder:

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, protected from light & moisture.
