About Doxylab Capsule:

Each hard gelatin Doxylab capsule contains Doxycycline Hydrochloride equivalent to Doxycycline 100 mg, Ambroxol Hydrochloride 7.5 mg and Excipients q.s.

Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic synthetically derived from oxytetracycline and used to treat a wide variety of susceptible bacterial infections. It inhibits protein synthesis by prohibiting the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria.

Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that increases respiratory tract secretion by enhancing the production of pulmonary surfactants and stimulating ciliary activity. This activity results in the improvement of mucociliary clearance and enhancement of fluid secretion which facilitates expectoration and eases cough.

Use of Doxylab Capsule:

Doxylab capsule is used to treat various acute and chronic respiratory tract infections associated with thick mucus (bronchitis, and other inflammatory conditions of the nasal tissues).

Usage direction of Doxylab Capsule:

• Doxylab capsule should be taken orally.
• Doxylab capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Doxylab Capsule:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Doxylab Capsule:

Store protected from moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
