Donep Syrup is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, used to treat Alzheimer’s disease.
Each 5 ml of Donep Syrup contains Donepezil Hydrochloride 5 mg.
Donepezil reversibly and noncompetitively inhibits centrally-active acetylcholine-esterase that is responsible for the hydrolysis of acetylcholine. This inhibition increases the concentration of acetylcholine, which is involved in memory function.
Use of Donep Syrup:
Donep Syrup is prescribed to treat dementia in people with mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s disease.
Usage direction of Donep Syrup:
- Donep Syrup is intended for oral use only.
- Before consuming the syrup, the consumption amount should be measured by a measuring cup (which is provided inside the package).
- Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
- Shake well before use.
- Keep the bottle well closed.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
