About Domcet Tablet:

Domcet Tablet is a combination medicine, indicated for the symptomatic treatment of migraine, and any medical condition associated with nausea/vomiting and fever/pain.

Each film-coated tablet contains Paracetamol 325 mg, Domperidone Maleate equivalent to Domperidone 10 mg.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic action by blocking the pain impulse generation and also produces antipyretic activity by inhibiting the heat-regulating center in the brain.

Domperidone is an antiemetic as well as a prokinetic medicine. By blocking the action of a certain chemical (dopamine) in the vomiting center and gastrointestinal tract, it prevents nausea and vomiting.

Use of Domcet Tablet:

Domcet Tablet is prescribed for the following:

• Symptomatic treatment of migraine.
• Any medical condition with concomitant nausea/vomiting and fever/pain.  

Usage Direction of Domcet Tablet:

• Domcet Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Domcet Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Domcet Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Domcet Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• Patients who find they have post-prandial symptoms that persist and are having to take domperidone continuously for more than 2 weeks should be referred to their general practitioner.
• Patients who find that their nausea and vomiting persist for more than 48 hours should be referred to their physician.
• The patient should be advised that Domperidone is not recommended for the treatment of motion sickness.
• Care is advised in the administration of paracetamol to patients with severe kidney impairment.
• Domperidone is not recommended for use in patients with cardiac disease, without medical supervision.
• Domcet Tablet contains lactose and may be unsuitable for patients with lactose intolerance, galactosaemia, or glucose/galactose malabsorption.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Taking more than the daily dose of Paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth, and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching, or rash).
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Domcet Tablet:

Store in a cool, dark place, away from light.
