Dolo Drops 15 ml

About Dolo Drops:

Dolo Drops is a paracetamol-containing paediatric oral suspension which belongs to the group of mild analgesics (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine. It is indicated to reduce fever and ease mild to moderate pain including headache, backache, toothache, etc.

1 ml contains approximately 20 drops.

Each ml contains: Paracetamol 100 mg, In a flavoured syrupy base q.s.

Colour: Sunset Yellow FCF.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

Use of Dolo Drops:

Dolo Drops is indicated to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, backache, toothache, and common colds in children.

Usage Direction of Dolo Drops:

•   Dolo Drops is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   Dolo Drops is for paediatric use only.
•   Shake well before use.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.

Precaution & Related information of Dolo Drops:

•   If hypersensitive or allergic to Dolo Drops, inform the physician immediately.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this drop with any other medicines or supplements.
•   In each case, not more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period or as directed by the Physician.
•   Dolo Drops is not to be administered without doctor’s advice.
•   Caution: Overdose may be injurious to the liver.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Dolo Drops:

•   Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
