About Dilzem SR Tablet:

Dilzem SR tablet is a calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and manage angina (chest pain).

Each uncoated sustained-release Dilzem SR tablet contains Diltiazem Hydrochloride 90 mg.

Diltiazem, a benzothiazepine calcium channel blocker, inhibits the influx of calcium ions during depolarisation of the vascular smooth muscles and myocardium thereby producing relaxation of coronary vascular muscles and coronary vasodilation and increases myocardial oxygen delivery.

Use of Dilzem SR Tablet:

Dilzem SR tablet is prescribed to patients who suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure) issues or have angina (chest pain).

Patients with various disorders of the heart rhythm may also be prescribed Dilzem SR tablet.

Usage direction of Dilzem SR Tablet:

• Dilzem SR tablet should be taken orally.
• Dilzem SR tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Dilzem SR Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Dilzem SR Tablet:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC. Protected from light & moisture.
