About Derinide AQ Nasal Spray:

Derinide AQ nasal spray is used to relieve the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Each metered spray delivers Budesonide 64 mcg. Each ml Derinide AQ nasal spray contains Budesonide 1.28 mg (micronised), Potassium Sorbate 1.2 mg (Preservative) and Water for injection to make 1 ml.

Budesonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. Budesonide induces the expression of glucocorticoid-responsive genes that encode anti-inflammatory mediators such as certain anti-inflammatory cytokines and lipocortins. As a result, the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes is prevented, which are responsible for inflammation.

Use of Derinide AQ Nasal Spray:

Derinide AQ nasal spray belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Derinide AQ nasal spray is used to treat inflammation in the nose caused by an allergy to pollen (hay fever / allergic rhinitis) and help relieve associated symptoms such as sneezing, runny, itchy, or blocked nose. Derinide AQ nasal spray can also be used for the treatment of nasal polyps.

Usage direction of Derinide AQ Nasal Spray:

• Derinide AQ nasal spray meant for intra nasal use only.

• Before using Derinide AQ nasal spray, know the administration process properly from the pack.

• Shake well before use.

• For smooth working of spray pump clean the acutator periodically by soaking in warm water.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue use without physicians’ advice.
