About Delpomont Suspension:

Each 5 ml Delpomont Suspension contains Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg In a Flavoured Syrupy Base q.s.

Delpomont Suspension is a leukotriene inhibitor. Leukotrienes are chemicals that the body releases when an allergen (such as pollen) was breathed in. These chemicals cause swelling in the lungs and tightening of the muscles around the airways, which can result in asthma symptoms. Delpomont Suspension binds with high affinity to the cysteinyl leukotriene type-1 (CysLT1) receptor and inhibits physiologic actions of LTD4 at the CysLT1 receptor without any agonist activity. Therefore, it acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist.

Use of Delpomont Suspension:

Delpomont Suspension is prescribed for the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma, to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Usage direction of Delpomont Suspension:

• Delpomont Suspension should be taken orally.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
• Close the bottle tightly after each use.

Storage condition of Delpomont Suspension:

Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Do not freeze.
