About Dapaease M Tablet:

Dapaease M Tablet is a combination of two anti-diabetic medications, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each film-coated bilayered Dapaease M Tablet contains Dapagliflozin Propanediol Monohydrate equivalent to Dapagliflozin 10mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (Extended-release).

Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, inhibits the SGLT2 co-transporter, which leads to lower reabsorption of filtered glucose into the body and decreases the renal threshold for glucose (RTG), leading to increased glucose excretion in the urine.

Metformin is a biguanide antihyperglycaemic agent which improves glucose tolerance by lowering both basal and postprandial plasma glucose. It decreases hepatic glucose production, delays intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity by enhancing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Use of Dapaease M Tablet:

Dapaease M Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control high blood glucose levels.

Usage Direction of Dapaease M Tablet:

  • Dapaease M Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Dapaease M Tablet should be swallowed whole.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Dapaease M Tablet:

  • Caution: It is dangerous to take this preparation except under medical supervision.
  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Dapaease M Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
