About D F O Red Gel :

D F O Red gel  contains Diclofenac Diethylamine 1.16% w/w (Equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 1.00% w/w), Linseed Oil 3% w/w, Menthol 5% w/w, Methyl Salicylate 10% w/w, Capsaicin 0.025% w/w and Benzyl Alcohol 1% w/w (As preservative).

Use of D F O Red Gel  :

• D F O Red Gel is prescribed to get prompt relief in low back pain, sprain and strain, lasting relief in arthritis, gout, neck, shoulder, knee and joint pain.
• Diclofenac is a anti-inflammatory, analgesic & antipyretic drug which inhibits transiently expressed prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase-2 (PGES-2) thereby inhibits prostaglandin synthesis.
• Methyl Salicylate is used here as a topical analgesic decreases the pain by cooling & warming up action which interfaces the pain signal transmission through nerves.
• Menthol is used to relive minor pain by giving cool sensation.
• Linseed Oil contains fatty acids which helps to reduce joint inflammation.
• Capsaicin is a plant derivative decrease pain sensation by activating certain receptors to cause prolonged desensitization of the local pain nerves.
