About Cristel 40 mg Tablet:

Each Cristel 40 mg tablet contains Telmisartan 40mg.

Use of Cristel 40 mg Tablet:

Cristel 40 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarctions.

Usage direction of Cristel 40 mg Tablet:

  • Cristel 40 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Cristel 40 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Cristel 40 mg Tablet:

  • If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
  • If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation. When pregnancy is detected, Telmisartan should be discontinued as soon as possible as it can cause injury and even death to the developing foetus, when used in pregnancy during second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
  • Store in a cool and dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
