About Coversyl 2 mg Tablet:

Coversyl 2 mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, symptomatic heart failure, and prevention of heart attacks in people with stable coronary artery disease.

Each uncoated Coversyl 2 mg Tablet contains Perindopril erbumine 2 mg and Excipients q.s.

Perindopril belongs to a class of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Angiotensin converting enzyme converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II that causes contraction of the muscles surrounding blood vessels resulting in elevation of blood pressure. By inhibiting this enzyme, Perindopril helps to relax the blood vessels and lower the blood pressure.

Use of Coversyl 2 mg Tablet:

Coversyl 2 mg Tablet is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor prescribed for the treatment of hypertension and symptomatic heart failure. It is also used to reduce the risk of cardiac events, such as heart attacks in patients with stable coronary artery disease.

Usage Direction of Coversyl 2 mg Tablet:

• Coversyl 2 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose & direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Coversyl 2 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without physician's advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Coversyl 2 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Coversyl 2 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
