About Coslyte ORS Powder:

Coslyte ORS Powder is a W.H.O. recommended oral rehydration salt, used to restores body fluids & electrolytes lost due to dehydration.

Composition:

Each Sachet (4.4 g) contains:

Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g, Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g

Sodium Citrate:  0.58 g, Excipients q.s.

Concentration in mmol/litre:

Sodium: 75.0, Potassium: 20.0, Chloride: 65.0, Citrate: 10.0, Dextrose: 75.0, Total Osmolarity (mOsmol): 245.0.

Uses of Coslyte ORS Powder:

Coslyte ORS Powder is intended for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes loss due to diarrhea and vomiting or excessive sweating due to various reasons.

Usage Direction of Coslyte ORS Powder:

•   Coslyte ORS Powder is intended for oral use only as advised by the physician.
•   Dosage depending on the age and severity of dehydration or as directed by the physician.
•   Direction of use: Dissolve entire contents of one sachet in 200 ml of previously boiled and cooled water. The prepared solution should be used within 24 hours and discard the remaining solution.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
•   Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Related information of Coslyte ORS Powder:

•   If hypersensitive or allergic to Coslyte ORS Powder, inform the physician immediately.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
•   Caution: Use with caution in impaired renal function or intestinal obstruction.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
