About Combitide 125 mcg Inhaler:
Combitide 125 mcg inhaler is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each actuation Combitide 125 mcg inhaler delivers Salmeterol Xinafolate equivalent to Salmeterol 25 mcg, Fluticasone Propionate 125 mcg and Propellants HFA-134a q.s.
Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.
Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.
Use of Combitide 125 mcg Inhaler:
Combitide 125 mcg inhaler is indicated in the
regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting
beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and
in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Usage
direction of Combitide 125 mcg Inhaler:
• Combitide 125 mcg inhaler intended for inhalation use only.
• Before using Combitide 125 mcg inhaler, know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.
• Shake well before each use.
• Always replace the dust cap on the inhaler after use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
