Chlordiazepoxide 5mg + Mebeverine 135mg

About Colospa X Tablet:

Colospa X tablet is an Antispasmodic medicine. Each film coated Colospa X tablet contains Mebeverine Hydrochloride 135mg and Chlordiazepoxide 5mg.

Mebeverine belongs to a class of medicine called antispasmodic. Mebeverine is used to relieve painful stomach cramps in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other conditions. It works by relaxing the muscles in your intestine.

Chlordiazepoxide belongs to a class of medications called benzodiazepines. Chlordiazepoxide is used to relieve anxiety, insomnia, anaesthesia premedication, management of seizures, muscle spasms, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, sedation in minor surgical and medical procedures. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Use of Colospa X Tablet:

Colospa X tablet is used for the treatment of Irritable bowel syndrome.

Usage Direction of Colospa X Tablet:

  • Colospa X tablet should be taken orally.
  • Colospa X tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.

Precaution & Related Information of Colospa X Tablet:

  • If allergic to this medicine inform the physician immediately.
  • If find any complication inform the physician immediately.
