Composition of Clavam DT Tablet:

Each dispersible Clavam DT Tablet contains- Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg.

 How Clavam DT Tablet Works:

Clavam DT Tablet contains two active ingredients, Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid, that work together as a combination antibiotic to treat bacterial infections.

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic medicine, belongs to the  that stops the growth of infections causing bacteria by preventing them from forming their protective outer layer. While Clavulanic acid belongs to the class of medicines called ‘beta-lactamase inhibitors’ that helps amoxicillin work better. It works by blocking an enzyme called beta-lactamase, which some bacteria produce to protect themselves. Beta-lactamase can break down amoxicillin, making it ineffective, thereby allowing amoxicillin to work properly.

• Usage Direction

Take Clavam DT Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and follow the recommended dosage and schedule. Disperse Clavam DT Tablet by adding the recommended amount of boiled or cooled water and stirring thoroughly until the tablet is completely dispersed. Once the tablet has fully dispersed, consume the solution immediately. Do not stop or alter the dose of Clavam DT Dispersible Tablet without consulting your doctor, as this may prevent you from achieving the desired result. • Missed Dose
