Cheston CS Syrup 100 ml

About Cheston CS Syrup:

Each 5 ml of Cheston CS syrup contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg and Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg in a Flavoured syrup base q.s.

Dextromethorphan, a centrally-acting antitussive agent, depresses the medullary cough center through sigma receptor stimulation, resulting to decreased sensitivity of cough receptors and interruption of cough impulse transmission.

Chlorpheniramine binds to the histamine H1 receptor. These blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms brought on by histamine.

Use of Cheston CS Syrup:

Cheston CS syrup is a combination medication, prescribed for the management of dry cough and upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergic conditions.

Usage direction of Cheston CS Syrup:

• Cheston CS syrup should be taken orally.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.

• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician's advice.

• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
