About Buta Proxyvon Gel:

Buta Proxyvon Gel is a combination medicine, indicated for symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation-associated conditions.

Buta Proxyvon Gel contains Diclofenac Diethylamine 1.16% w/w (Equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 1.0% w/w), Linseed oil 3% w/w, Menthol 5% w/w, Methyl salicylate 10% w/w, Capsaicin 0.025% w/w (Equivalent to Pure Capsaicin not less than 0.01375% w/w).

Diclofenac belongs to a class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines. It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandin, a substance responsible for causing pain and inflammation.

Linseed oil, a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid, is extracted from the dried, ripened seeds of the flax plant. It exerts anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting the release of certain chemicals (inflammatory mediators) in the body.

Menthol relieves pain and inflammation by dilating the blood vessels which leads to the sensation of coldness.

Methyl salicylate is a rubefacient as well as a topical counter-irritant. It relieves pain by dilating the blood vessels which produces irritation and reddening of the skin and gives a soothing sensation of warmth.

Capsaicin is a topical analgesic agent. It produces a feeling of heat that stimulates certain nerve cells. This heating effect lowers the action of certain chemicals (substance P) in the body, responsible for causing the transmission of pain signals to the brain.
