About Budenase AQ Nasal Spray:
Budenase AQ nasal spray is used to relieve the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Budenase AQ nasal spray contains Budesonide 0.2% w/v and Potassium Sorbate 0.12% w/v (preservative). Each spray delivers Budesonide 100 mcg.
Budesonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. Budesonide induces the expression of glucocorticoid-responsive genes that encode anti-inflammatory mediators such as certain anti-inflammatory cytokines and lipocortins. As a result, the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes is prevented, which are responsible for inflammation.
Use of Budenase AQ Nasal Spray:
Budenase AQ nasal spray belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Budenase AQ nasal spray is used to treat inflammation in the nose caused by an allergy to pollen (hay fever / allergic rhinitis) and help relieve associated symptoms such as sneezing, runny, itchy, or blocked nose. Budenase AQ nasal spray can also be used for the treatment of nasal polyps.

• Before using Budenase AQ nasal spray, know the administration process properly from the pack.
